Introduction

The Associazione Culturale VIEDELLART, directed by Ilenia Logorelli, is honored to present the Festival Arte nel Mediterraneo, launched on next July 21st – 26th, in the south of Italy, gently skimming the Mediterranean waves.
The Dance shall be protagonist within its distinctive varieties of expressions in an extraordinary place as for its beaches, such as Comune di Melito di Porto Salvo.
Remarkable Maîtres, choreographers and special guests of Italy and worldwide, shall get all together in this first Festival composed by:

Stage Internazionale Danza nel Mediterraneo, for Academies, Associations and Schools of Dance.
New !!! Salsa in Festival Arte nel Mediterraneo One week of free salsa classes in Cuba
Cuban Night, with a spectacle coming from the Island.
Concorso Internazionale Danza nel Mediterraneo, shall reward with attractive scholarships in the prestigious National Ballet of Cuba. New !!! Fashion Exhibition, Salsa Schools Competition
Grecian Night , The Theater Company Scena Nuda, shall present the spectacle "Il Vento dei Miti", where the magic poetry, music and dance move us toward our roots.
Gala, special guests in the world of the Dance shall have a valuable role at the closure of the Festival.

The Festival Arte nel Mediterraneo is intended to be a paramount event, the same shall permit the audience to perceive our Calabrian land, which shall be deeply honored counting on the prestigious Cuban School of Ballet and its Classic legate; also the Contemporaneous – Afro Cuban and Salsa groups widely spread out worldwide.
The Festival Arte nel Mediterraneo shall open the possibility to students, professional and all the passionate audience of the Art field, to interact and learn various techniques and styles. Melito di Porto Salvo, with its beautiful beaches and the bellisimo Lungomare, with the new Villa Comunale, the recently rebuilt Corso, its Vecchio Mercato and the meaningful rock Pentidatillo, shall be undoubtedly a tourist attraction to spend relaxing days pleasantly.
The Festival Arte nel Mediterraneo is proposed to be the event that gives path to the Summer Season of Melito, uniting Art, Study and Vacations.
